Pope Benedict XVI: There have been times when 'it seemed like the Lord was sleeping' during my papacy:
In his outgoing address in front of 150,000 people in St
Peter’s Square, Pope Benedict XVI today said there had been times when “it seemed
like the Lord was sleeping” during his crisis-hit papacy.
Mike Nova comments:
He was not "sleeping", he was simply ignoring you, because both you and your Church became absolutely irrelevant to Him and to the people: His gift of spirituality was lost in your message behind the empty, meaningless and deadening rituals and traditions. Apparently, God was also angry at your attitude toward gay people, because He loves them, just like He loves everybody.
